The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for light freezing rain or freezing drizzle... over parts of central and northern Arkansas... which is in effect until 8 am CST Tuesday.
There will be a chance of scattered patches of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle over parts central and north Arkansas tonight. Light rain is expected tonight... and with temperatures remaining near freezing over the area... the rain may mix or become light freezing rain or freezing drizzle. Little to no significant accumulations are expected. However... any freezing precipitation will affect exposed surfaces such as bridges... overpasses... elevated or low traveled roads. Temperatures Tuesday morning are expected to warm above freezing in the morning.
